My first Tilda card

Hi everyone...i made just a very simple and quick Tilda card. It's actually a sample to give an idea to my younger cousin for a card making competition at his school.

In this card i have used black and mango yellow cartridge sheets. The yellow sheet is embossed using the Jef embosser, although it's not too visible in the picture.I don't have the markers so i opted for the oil pastels to colour the Tilda.

The black bow is self-made using the ribbon.

I have used the washi tape at the edges, bought from Lulupu.com,and the lace, bought from the local market.
I know the card is too simple but had to make it keeping mind that my younger cousin has to make.Hope you all liked it....see you all again soon.

9 Drawer rack with space for 12*12 sheets

This was my longest and biggest craft project ever.I once checked out the Kaisercraft 9 Drawer rack and thought why not just make it on my own???So i tried and here's what i got...

It was actually real hard to get the perfect cuttings and specifically the slots to fit different parts in,but i succeeded.Talking about the material i used..the list is too long but still the main stuff is the chipboard which i bought from ItsyBitsy and i covered it with the handmade sheet(green) which is very easily available.I used the ivory sheet for making the drawers as cutting the chipboard would probably add up to another big task but the ivory sheet works great as its supported by the patterned paper.Pattered papers i used are not of one single stack, few are bought from ItsyBitsy, few i bought from Staples and other of the DCWV Floral Stack.I have also used the lace which is bought from local market. Then i have used organza ribbon too which i really love.
The sides and top of the rack are below....

On this i have used the patterned paper from DCWV Floral stack and the embellishment on top is a chipboard die-cut,again bought from ItsyBitsy.I painted it white and used the Dew Drop chalk ink for distressing. The lilies and heart at the bottom are made by me with polymer clay and i got the idea from Gabrielle Pollacco's blog, she is the one i am most inspired by.
Below is another side of the rack....

On this side (picture above) i have used the Mulberry paper roses i bought recently from Lulupu.com and the bigger flower is,again inspired from Gabrielle Pollacco's blog, made of cardstock and used the Tim Holtz Vintage photo Distressing ink.You can see the space to keep the 12*12 papers clearly in this picture.

On the top i have just punched the paper with Martha Stewart Lattice Heart punch and made the swirl design using the puffy paint.
That sounds so easy and too little but believe me when u start it's the most difficult part because you need to cut through chipboard and that too perfectly, cutting the base structure took me too long.
Hope you all liked it...

Parchment bookmarks

These were a brilliant thing to be created....they do take a lot of time to be completed but the final result is always wonderful.......It's the only thing ,of all the craft-work i have ever done, i love the most..
Try them...get some parchment sheet......they are worth the time.
